    Registration is now open for the 2024 South West District Community Gathering, “Inclusive Paths, Resilient Journeys”

    October 9, 2024, and join us in Maple Creek, SK at the Jasper Cultural and Historic Centre, to connect, learn, and grow with others committed to fostering diverse and resilient leaders, organizations and communities, built on unique strengths of the participants, volunteers and professionals in our communities.  

    The 2024 gathering will feature an inspiring address from Travis Boser, originally from southwestern Saskatchewan, He is the creator and co-host of Canada Out of the Closet, a podcast focused on telling the stories of 2SLGBTQ+ Canadians, which he now uses as a teaching tool for other educators and people working with queer youth.  Based in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Travis’ work, both in education and the area of performing arts, is rooted both in a strong desire to give back to the community while fostering diversity and inclusion.
